| Aim |
Within the rules, to accumulate points until you have reached the
winning target before your opponent. Divided into an attacking

Safety attribute of shot - margin of error for avoiding

| Hitting zone |

| Legal hitting zone |

| Prepare phase |
From the moment the opponent strikes the shuttle till the moment

The space withint the legal hitting zone in which a shot can physically be played. See link |

Set of points in a trajectory that a shot can be played from. See link |

| RP phase |
From the end of the shot phase till the
moment the opponent strikes the shuttle. See link |
| Shot phase |
From the start of shot execution to the point at which
kinetic energy that has accumulated during the shot can now be brought
